Although it is comfortable, one of the problems of this radio related to the size is the overheating. The small size of this meter radio is amazing, even half of the size of other meter radio models, really convenient for users with limited space.

Although there are some features where it can be improved. The clarity in communication that his radio offers is impressive. From the first look, you will notice that it has the appearance of a HAM radio, which is really attractive for most of the users. This radio is definitively the right amateur choice to enjoy a fulfilling radio experience.

To help you in the process, this Anytone AT Review will lead you to the right questions answers you need.
Anytone mod professional#
Yeah, I like it that much.Would you like to have a radio that combines a friendly interface with professional features? Whether this is your first time getting a radio or you have previous amateur experience, finding the right model is an adventure itself.
Anytone mod software#
I do wish that it had come with the programming software and cable you have to deep search for the online download but looking at the software, I'm probably better off hoping it's eventually accessible through CHIRP which I use for all else in the shack. The audio output is clean and strong and the speaker is sufficiently large enough to use in a car. And you can switch the radio to use the microphone as a speaker-mic, with an option to disconnect the radio's speaker or use both the radio speaker and the speaker-mic setting. But it's still much easier than the TH my in-house base station. The front-panel program buttons are easy to use. As easy as any to program and the 20 watts out lets me work any of the repeaters that I want. I really like the bright easy to read display. It is a very nice little radio that seems to be of high quality. I drive a Ford Ranger so not much room for radios and seemed to fit the bill. Still worth a look though! I bought this radio because it is small and has a lot of features. IF having a programming cable is important to program your rig, then this one is not for you yet as its not listed by CHIRP quite yet. As has been stated though its a two step process to adjust. Anytone and Btech both have US distributors which is a real plus.
Anytone mod manual#
The reason for not giving it a 5 is of course the manual but even that is understandable versus some I have read. Review of coordinate systemsįor the money you get a great display and cool running output, good audio reports etc. I like the quality a lot and have found that 25 watts and a decent base antenna will get me pretty much where I want to talk. It seems Btech and Anytone are the leaders in the around I have found in working the menus its fairly easy to program this one from the mic. The site will be something of which everyone involved can be proud to say they were a part. This project involves a management team of volunteers who each take a topic of interest and manage it with passion.
